Small restaurant near a Hudson County park. I had a chicken parmigiano sandwich and a drink. It was very tasty and not very expensive. The restaurant was quiet AND I was able to charge my smartphone. (Otherwise I wouldn't be writing this.)
Fresh and delicious. the staff cares about their customers.especially the middle aged spanish lady at the register. She's a keeper
The seats in the seated dining area were couches that sink in very far, which is awkward for eating, but great for relaxing.
The Philly Style sandwich was very good. It could have been better if the sandwich was hot all the way through, but the turkey is cold when the sandwich is served. The bread is excellent, which really makes the sandwich great overall.
Service was pretty poor as well. 1/5 for service specifically.
Ordered the Turkey Avocado and it looked and tasted delicious. Took about 4mins from ordering to being ready.
They managed to bake a "french baguette" with no discernible flavor. Pretty, not no flavor. Otherwise place is pleasant and smells good.
Literally the only thing that saved this from being a 1 star was the sandwich was actually good.
Lastly, it was 10:30am. They don't serve breakfast after 11am... I initially asked for a breakfast item and they let me know "we are out of eggs"...?? I asked for just a side of bacon and, "we are out of bacon"...?!? So obviously they just shut down the breakfast line early.
However, also ordered a muffin... Took 8mins?
